Booking & Cancellation Policy
BOOKING POLICY
At the time of booking a charter, a 50% deposit is to be applied. The charter is only to be confirmed by receiving the deposit. Payment of balance via credit or bank transfer: at least 7 days before embarkation of the charter
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of cancellation of the charter by the Charterer, for any reason, the following cancellation policy will apply depending on the time-interval between the booking confirmation and the cancellation date: a. Cancellation fee of 30% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period from booking to 45 days prior to boat embarkation b. Cancellation fee of 50% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 14 days prior to boat embarkation c. Cancellation fee of 100% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 7 days prior to boat embarkation
Free cancellation in case of severe health issues of the Charterer, or his party. In the case of a non-show event of the Charterer on the day of embarkation, LEISURE YACHTS is entitled to retain the total amount of the chosen charter.
In the event of cancellation of the charter by LEISURE YACHTS, the following cancellation policy will apply:
a. In case the yacht charter cannot happen due to weather conditions, and/or mechanical issues of the boat, clients will be provided with an alternative date (same type of charter).
b. In case the yacht charter cannot happen due to weather conditions, and/or mechanical issues of the boat, and the charter cannot be rescheduled or modified, the so far received charter amount, will be refunded (3% processing fees bank or credit cards transactions apply).
